Not sure if this is worth a dig or not. In the early 1980 I worked for a gentleman whose mother claimed she was the last Russian princess. This was in Florida. The mother married a man whose last name was Cowell, son's name was Roy. I think I remember seeing a newspaper article about it. a few more details. The son of this royal russian princess was Roy Cowell and he died 8/27/1997 - or the newspaper article about his death was printed that day. He was always a little embarrassed about the Russian royalty connection and didn't want to talk about it much.
