Social media erupted in criticism of the vice president's 'word salad' response to a question about the Israeli-Hamas war. Remember, Douglass Mackey, known online as "Ricky Vaughn," was given a seven-month prison sentence for what many argue was nothing more than posting a satirical meme. Mackey's "crime" was sharing a joke on social media that suggested people could vote by text message, a concept so obviously absurd that it strains credulity to think anyone took it seriously. The meme in question targeted Hillary Clinton supporters, and supposedly 4,900 people attempted to "vote" via the instructions in the meme, although it's hard to imagine that any adult truly believed this was a valid way to cast a ballot.
Despite the joke-like nature of the meme, Mackey was convicted of "conspiracy against rights," with prosecutors claiming that his actions deliberately attempted to disenfranchise specific groups of voters, including minorities. The federal jury's conviction and Judge Ann M. Donnelly's decision to sentence Mackey to prison reflect an overzealous crackdown on what was ultimately a satirical online post—hardly the stuff of a legitimate election interference plot.

The evacuation orders are to push people out of Florida and KEEP THEM OUT. I'm told FEMA is practically panicked to get enough armed personnel on site, anticipating a tremendous amount of resistance from displaced people who want to return home to salvage whatever they can. This is the next step up the escalation ladder as the federal government wages WAR against the American people, as we saw FEMA carrying out in NC, actively hindering rescue efforts to maximize starvation and death.
