Putin will likely restore the Russian Crown and put a surviving Romanov descendant back on the thrown. Remember, a few years back they inexplicably exhumed the bodies of the Romanovs for testing, and last fall they launched another investigation into the deaths of the Romanov family. It would fit with Putin restoring Russia to a Neo-Tsarist traditionalist state, and it would be the best way to secure his legacy. He knows he cannot live forever, and sooner or later, even if it takes generations, another nation-wrecking globalist could be voted PM.

The Tsar may not hold much political power, imagine a House of Windsor on steroids, but instead of selling their people out to the third world, fighting to preserve their heritage. Even a de-fanged Monarch would still exert massive spiritual and cultural control over the direction of the country.
