Fred Blassie, a professional wrestler and manager, is famously known for his catchphrase “pencil neck geek.” This term originated early in his career while describinga fellow carnival performerwho appeared in a geek show. Blassie described this performer as having “a neck like a stack of dimes and a real pencil-neck geek.”
