Lest we forget why Jeff Sessions is taking so goddam long with everything

Out of all those arrested for the riots in Washington DC (234 people) during President Trump's inauguration, prosecutors obtained exactly 0 jury convictions.

There is no reason whatsoever for us to wish for "arrests" whether for treason or stealing pens from the office: NONE of the Obama- or Bush-era criminals, nor anyone associated with the Hillary Clinton campaign nor the Democrat Party, have any risk of conviction if their trial is held in Washington, DC.

Waiting for the show in Utah, however long it takes to put together, is in all of our interests. So let's let the Q team and the Trump administration and Jeff Sessions put all the playing pieces on the board before we yell at them for allowing the Peter Strzok's and John Brennan's to go free.

We want arrests followed by convictions.

To repeat: 234 arrests, 0 jury convictions in DC

WASHINGTON — The images were startling: Black-clad rioters, wearing masks, using crowbars to smash windows of businesses in the nation’s capital, throwing bricks and pieces of concrete at police officers, blocks away from where Donald Trump was being sworn-in as the 45th president of the United States.

234 people were arrested, and 214 were indicted for felonies and misdemeanors, with each facing a maximum of 70 years in prison.

Yet, not a single defendant was found guilty by juries in D.C. Superior Court….

Twenty-one defendants pleaded guilty before trial, and one, Dane Powell, served jail time — four months behind bars, for throwing rocks and bricks at police officers, and shattering store windows.

After the first six defendants to go on trial were found not guilty, prosecutors dropped charges against more than 150 others.

In a second trial, no defendants were convicted. Jurors said prosecutors had failed to prove the people on trial were personally responsible for property damage or personal injuries.

“No judicial officers or judges who heard any of the cases ever suggested there wasn’t probable cause for the arrests,” said Newsham. “Making a case (at trial) beyond a reasonable doubt is a much higher standard.”

Obviously, as a matter of public policy, arresting about 400,000 residents of Washington, DC, would be a positive step forward for America.

Logistics, however, are problematic.

So the Q team tactic of getting the entire process relocated is probably a good Plan B.

No but that is the official estimate for the number of criminally stupid people living in DC, who are at risk of holding a public office or being placed on a jury.
