reminds me of a time when I lived in this absolute ghetto apartment complex, and I was taking out the trash, btw I was like mid 20s newlywed with 2 kids and this was early 2016.. but anyway I was taking out the trash to the dumpsters which was always a risk because there really were a bunch of violent crack addicts in the complex.. and these mexicans were drinking beers by a truck blasting tejano and bouncing around, clearly casual laborers, right after work, and they were like "gringo, come, cervesa (beer)" and I tossed my trash and went over with a big purposely dopey white guy smile and was like "cervesa! gracias" and they asked me if I liked the music, and I was like "yah" but sort of shrugging, and they were like "no, no" and I was like "yeah, but.. i mean.. not my favorite no, I wouldn't listen to myself (and using hand gestures to help explain) but its good" (thumbs up, pic related) and then they were they put on nirvana, and I was like "better" and then a guy opened his beer bottle with his teeth and another guy showed me a pistol and I thanked them and drank one more and then left, but they played whiteboy music all night.

also part of that story that I left out was that at one point they asked me what I think of donald Trump and I shrugged because I was a bit nervous after seeing the pistol and the beer opened with teeth, and then they all started singing along to nirvana.. super chill
