Playing devil's advocate (not that I believe this will happen) but let's say they keep Kameltoe or even swap in Killary or Big Mike, then proceed to steal the election.
Doesn't the illegality of Kameltoe's coup, or a "potentially" illegal swap simply negate the outcome of any "stollen" win?
If so, it seems as if [their] whole run at this is pointless.
