Judge sentences man to a century for aggravated sexual assault of a child.

Criminal District Attorney Bob Wortham announced today that Daniel Adam Billingsley, 37, was found guilty by a jury on three cases of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child on July 13, 2018. Billingsley elected for the Court to assess punishment, and Judge Larry Gist sentenced Billingsley to 50 years in the Institutional Division of Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Judge Gist ordered for two of the cases to run concurrent and for the third case to run consecutive, resulting in a 100-year sentence.
