Maybe that was the point that is being made.
People freak out when they hear the word guns or if they see a gun.
Yet in Hollyweird movies, everyone is running around with a loaded gun and has a house and a vehicle full of them, with no problems.
In the military, you have a bunch of guys running around with loaded fully automatic rifles and no one freaks out about it.
No the kids at school are taught to freak out and have active shooter drills.
When I was in school we had fire drills and tornado drills. Never had an "active shooter" drill. Kids are being taught to fear guns instead of being taught how to handle them safely.
