>Ballots should be hand counted in the precincts in which they were cast, not scanned into a machine and sent over the Internet for "counting" later

what about blockchain technology

register to vote, each registered voter ID has a blockchain number, that number is stamped on a voter card every 4 years, like driver's license being renewed every 4-6 years in places

only exactly the amount of registered voters have a spot on the blockchain, only that many proof cards are printed in sequence, you can check your vote and who it was for on the blockchain with your number

however that technology works

I see how counting paper ballots is connected now, TY, just knew enough to think blockchain is probably a secure way to ensure 1 person 1 vote, wasn't thinking about the paper ballots actually being cast

>You need multiple security measures on top of paper to ensure fakes aren't made, duplicates are impossible, etc

<Blockchain Paperยฎ offers multiple layers of security to ensure the authenticity and integrity of printed documents

found that, understand a bit more now
