Just a fun story from my youth.
Way back, sometime in high school, I had the strangest dream. I spent 300 years living in paradise, but at the end I told my lover that I had to leave for a while because there were people who were going to need me in another world. Right after that I stepped through a portal and woke up, literally entering another world.
Well, as much as possible at least. We've never made it past this point before, so we're going to need to be as prepared as possible.
Are you THAT excited to watch the globe's wealthiest idiots humiliate themselves in front of everybody, then just kill us all to hide their shame?

I've always wondered how much of the depravity we see in society may be related to people simply attempting to conform to their perceptions of the kinds of people who would do such things.
