Not defending the McD's BS or not, but when it comes to Professional Resume's, a job like McD's would not fit with the positions she applied for. For example she's applying for legal / paralegal type work, McD's would not really be a good example of that type of previous work.

Just my two cents. Gotta be thorough with this crap and not let little details like what should and should not be included in a "proper" Professional Resume, cloud the issue

Same, with applications and what not that I had done, times have changed I guess. Took a vocational class years ago that went into Resume writing, one of the points that was made was any jobs after xxx amount of years leave off due to just "eating space on the paper", and if looking for a certain profession, highlight those jobs and previous work experiences to help sell yourself to whomever you're applying to. Much like everything else, it's about knowing how to "play the game".
