A handmaiden was bribed to push the princess of fun high place, and she fell to an agonizing death. No one ever suspected it was murder. So, the boy became the ruler, and lived to age 90, demanding all Egyptians work to build his monuments, virtually enslaving the country for generations.

 

And the point? The piloting court officials were never suspected, because their first act, after having the girl killed, was to kill the handmaiden.
