Fort Leonard Wood searching for missing soldier

FORD LEONARD WOOD, Mo. – The community at Fort Leonard Wood is asking for the public’s help in searching for a soldier that has been reported missing.

They are searching for Sgt. Sarah Roque. According to Fort Leonard Wood, Roque’s family and her chain of command have not been able to contact her.

Roque’s last known location was within Fort Leonard Wood.

Fort Leonard Wood is known as "Fort Lost in the Woods," and this case reminds me of the David Paulides Missing 411. Anyone familiar with cases like that know some of the profile points. Weather changes shortly after impeding the searh (it's supposed to rain tomorrow); missing person often found with high amounts of GHB in their system; often found in or near bodies of water; dogs can't track (chipmunk noise repellant machines may impede dogs); LIDAR doesn't show heat signatures (think: dugout shelter in the woods with thermal blankets to hide heat signatures).
