A rocket attack forced US Secretary of State Antony Blinken into an air raid shelter on Wednesday after sirens sounded across Tel Aviv,a senior administration official told NBC News.

Another official confirmed that the rocket was fired by Hezbollah, though the Israeli military did not comment when asked about the incident by NBC News. The citywide alert lasted for about 10 minutes before the all-clear was given.

Earlier today, sirens sounded in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and their surroundings due to rockets fired from Lebanon.
