Because my personal work experience in IT, I know there is a tier 1 network POP right at CNN Center on Marietta St in Downtown Atlanta.
CNN Center happens to be adjacent (opposite corner) from the old Federal Reserve Bldg in Atlanta (marietta St)
There is webhosting and colo facilities in the same block on Marietta St.

The website for the event says its at the Atlanta Convention Center which traditionally is at the Merchandise Mart on Ptree St about 3 or 4 (large) blocks away. But they didn't have an address so they could use the GWCC (georgia world congress center) is next door too.
Also, you are aware most of the 'original' internet backbone follows the train track easements around the country. You know what's also right there in Downtown Atlanta (train tracks) and a major Norfolk Southern railyard.
