Republican Kentucky State Senator Dies After Driving Lawnmower into Empty Pool

Kentucky State Senator Johnnie Turner passed away on Tuesday from injuries caused by driving his lawnmower into an empty pool.

Turner, 76, was a US Army veteran serving in the state senate since 2021. He also served in the Kentucky State House from 1999-2003.

The accident on the lawnmower occurred last month, and he has been battling the injuries ever since.

The Associated Press reported on September 16, “Turner was injured when he drove his mower into the deep end of the pool, Kentucky State Police said. Authorities received the 911 call shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday. State police had no details about what caused the accident. Turner was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to UT Medical Center.”

Kentucky Senate President Robert Stivers announced news of Turner’s death on Thursday.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Sen. Johnnie Turner’s passing Tuesday evening, following a hard-fought battle with injuries sustained in his recent accident,” Senate President Stivers wrote in a press release on behalf of the Senate Majority Caucus. “Over the past weeks, his remarkable resolve and strength filled the Turner family—and all of us—with optimism, making this loss all the more difficult to bear.”

“This loss is deeply personal to me, as I have known Johnnie long before our paths crossed in public office. I will miss my friend; my heart breaks for his wife, Maritza, and his children. The love and admiration I, along with so many others, feel for Johnnie is immense, but I know it pales compared to the depth of love held by those closest to him.”

Stivers continued, “Johnnie spent his life lifting others—whether through his service in the U.S. Army, as a member of the State House of Representatives and State Senate, or in his private legal practice. His unwavering commitment to the people of Eastern Kentucky—his constituents, brothers and sisters in Christ, whom he so fondly referred to as ‘his people’—was at the heart of everything he did.”

The lawmaker was running for a second term after winning the Republican primary. His name will still appear on the ballot, as the election is less than two weeks away.

MI Director of Elections Jonathan Brater Accused Of Lying Under Oath to Grand Jury To Persecute Election Integrity Patriots…”These charges have literally destroyed my life!”

Michigan’s Director of Elections, Jonathan Brater, is accused of lying under oath to a grand jury in the case against two brilliant and courageous election integrity lawyers and a respected patriot and former MI State Representative.

On August 3, 2023, Democrat Muskegon Prosecutor DJ Hilson announced criminal charges against Attorney Stefanie Lambert, then-MI State Rep. Daire Rendon (R), and Attorney Matthew DePerno, her Republican opponent, in the general election for MI AG in 2022, for their alleged role in the investigation of vote tabulators, reportedly given to them by clerks to be examined for potential fraud.

Nessel accused them of illegally gaining access to five tabulators across three Michigan counties, reportedly used in the state’s 2020 election.

One of the tabulators that was examined was reportedly given to Lambert and DePerno by the Barry County clerk in 2021. The vote tabulator was shared with them so it could undergo a forensic examination by a qualified team of experts.

According to a state police report reviewed by Reuters, the township clerk told state police she gave the tabulator to an outside investigator working with Sheriff Dar Leaf’s office so it could be “forensically” examined. The clerk said the sheriff’s office had asked her to give the machine to the investigator.

MI Attorney General Nessel alleges the tabulator was illegally removed on March 9, 2021, and taken to another county, where it was examined by computer technicians working with Lambert and DePerno.

Michigan’s highly partisan Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel reportedly shopped for a special prosecutor who would be willing to take on another one of her witch hunt cases against a political enemy.

This time, in what could only happen in the state of Michigan, the MI Democrat AG was looking for someone to prosecute her political opponent in the upcoming AG race, Republican Attorney Matthew DePerno.

Putin addresses MI5 ‘nonsense’

The EU and UK’s own policies are causing unrest on their streets, the Russian leader has argued

of the British intelligence agency MI5, alleged that Russia was on a mission to create “sustained mayhem on British and European streets.” A BBC journalist asked the Russian leader to address the accusation on Thursday at a news conference following the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan.

“This is utter nonsense,” Putin stated. “What is happening on the streets of some European cities is the result of those countries’ internal policies.”

“The European economy is teetering on the brink of recession, and the leading economies of the eurozone are actually in recession,” the Russian president said, emphasizing that none of this is Moscow’s fault.

This causes a corresponding reaction because people’s living standards are falling.

Putin argued that these issues stem from the West’s decision to reject Russian energy resources.

“Western countries, European countries, have given up on our energy resources,” he said, noting that one pipeline of Nord Stream 2 remains intact, and Germany’s decision to keep it deactivated is “political.” He added that the US has “created the conditions for a whole sector of the German economy to move to the United States.”

Additionally, Putin pointed out that some countries are affected by the misuse of “green” policies, shutting down anything related to nuclear power or hydrocarbon fuels. “Many in Europe and elsewhere, including the US, have abused and continue to abuse the environmental agenda and global warming discussions,” he said.

Putin further suggested that these accusations represent a self-projection and are part of the West’s efforts to evade accountability for its own mistakes during talks with Milorad Dodik, the leader of Republika Srpska, later that day.

“We do not have such tools… This is all to push their own agenda and evade responsibility for the fundamental mistakes the West has made in its dealings with other countries, all in pursuit of domination at any cost,” the Russian leader stated.

“We are not fighting with anyone; we don’t want any confrontation. We are simply going our own way, creating new mechanisms of cooperation based on equality and mutual respect,” he declared at the BRICS summit, a group that currently represents more than 45% of the world’s population and has surpassed the US-led G7 bloc in its share of global GDP.

Emhoff allegedly struck the woman, referred to as "Jane," in the face while waiting in a valet line after a 2012 Cannes Film Festival event, because Emhoff thought she was flirting with a valet.
