Just a thought that has passed between my ears a few times…
If I were attempting to create an wholly artificial world, using the real world as materials, then I figure it would be necessary to use a pyramid shaped structure with myself managing a number of followers, who each manage more followers and so forth. So, in such an organization I would need to rely upon my subordinates to carry out my will, and also to inform me of what was actually happening in this world we were creating. The problem is, as people have free will, there is no assurance that the reports I receive about what is happening are entirely accurate. With all this in mind, it strikes me that the final step, before "flipping the switch" on enshrining this artificial world in crystal form, would be to go out into the world unannounced so as to live as an ordinary person and see for myself if what we had created was actually in line with what was intended, or if error of some form has corrupted the reports which I had been receiving.
Anyways, that's just a hypothetical scenario which I have considered.
