Hebrew words are understood by word formations.

Elohim אל (ה) ים - God separated from man (creation יfinished by the Son ם) by ignorance.

When he calls men 'elohim' he is saying they are separated from God by ignorance… and will die like men. When he calls idols 'elohim' he is saying that they separate men from God by ignorance. This is not a mystery.

Israel ישראל is understood in the same manner. God אל joinקd to God אל by revelation ר .

Adam and Eve were the first Israel, followed by Cain, Abel, Seth, Noah, etc.

The covenants were with Eve, Noah and Abraham for all men.

The nation of Israel was chosen to be a parable to teach the first three covenants. The parable was over when Jesus said : It is finished.
