This will require Congress to authorize continued action related to this specific invasion. This will fall out the same as the Civil War did. Last night DJT told Mike Johnson to get ready after he stated he was invoking it.

Congress can say anything they want on the floor of Congress related to this invasion, but outside the Congress, they will be arrested and tried for treason once Congress votes to authorize the President to end the invasion.

We will either see a dramatic change in the left or we will see them detained by military. This is why they are panicking about DJT using the military against them. Even giving a speech outside of Congress in favor of illegals staying in the Country is an act of Treason at that point

Invasion is an act of war. Congress has to give the President authorization ( at their earliest convenience) to end the invasion. The Presidents declaration and/or invocation of the AEA doesn't give him war powers. The war powers would grant him authority to arrest citizens aiding the enemy invaders among other tools DJT will need.

A president has the sole power to determine immigration policy. DJT plans to use Alien Enemies Act to remove them because it is an invasion.
