The hotel is simply filing an counter-action for declaratory judgment against the plaintiffs who are pleading that Mandalay Bay breached its duty of care (I haven't read the complaint at all). Mandalay Bay wants a declaration that it is not liable and likely attorney's fees, expenses, all related costs. And probably for the plaintiffs to never say Mandalay is liable. It also prevents the plaintiffs from dismissing the action.
