How is "P. Diddy" connected to the San Diego/Mexico border?

As San Diego County citizens, we're trying to find out.

October 15, 2024 | Three months ago, my friend Cory Gautereaux sent me a screenshot he had taken of one of the many U.S./Mexico border properties where people are crossing into our country illegally. Taken from a hunting app, OnX, it showed who owns the property: Dior Sunset Foundation out of Long Beach, California.

I’ve been following the numbers showing the continual rise in illegal crossings through our San Diego border and the crazy jump in funding - since 2021 - given to our local NGOs assisting these migrants. I’ve even gone to the airport to film San Diego Rapid Response escort illegal immigrants through San Diego International Airport with red folders and no IDs in sight, so I knew this would be something important to look into.

When Cory sent me the name of this foundation, I immediately started investigating them. My first question was: what interest would an organization working with inner city kids—2.5 hours away—have in a property at our southern border?

Then I ran across a local San Diego news segment from a year ago where they reported “Father buys 13-year-old son 40 acres of land for his birthday.” That father was Faheem Muhammad. I could not connect him to Dior Sunset Foundation so I began looking into the tax records and purchase history for the property. I found that San Diego County records show Dior Sunset as the owner of parcel # 659-150-05-00 and 659-150-03-00 (the property consists of 2 parcels), but local San Diego media told us another story. Was it because P. Diddy shared that his colleague Faheem “bought” the parcel?
