Something like that. I don't know how many times I've talked to "artists" who ask me to critique their work and when I make it a point to say "Why are the feet and hands off the paper?" or something to that effect, I always get the "I suck at drawing hands and feet" line.

So draw them in your spare time to get better.

That was Liefeld's problem. He never continued to grow as an artist. His ego wouldn't let him. The fame went to his head and now he's all but broke, spending his time arguing with haters on Twitter, still borking deadlines I hear. Sad, really.

>that is frank miller

That isLAZYFrank Miller. It's bad concept and poor anatomy. He can't blame this on his inker, either. He knew, as soon as he did his final, it was a bad image, but he went with it anyway.

>modern frank is no where near where he was back in the day,

I wouldn't have bought that book, if I saw the cover. Frank Miller or not. A lot of these modern artists are lazy as fuck and have no skills, but they still get jobs. I stopped collecting comics in the early 2000s when I moved into 3D, but still pay attention to the going ons in the comic world. Kek. I'm sure I still have my rejection letter from Marvel somewhere, before I enlisted.

>some of them are good but its rare. and if they are good they quickly leave.

One of my first gigs was as a cookie cutter, which is an entry-level digital colorist in the mid 90s. We're the ones who lay down all the base colors for the Colorist to go over with tweaks and their own personal touches. Don't think that people like Scott Lobdell were cranking out 10 books a month, without help.

>I just do the best I can and try to make each thing better than the last and put some heart in it.

That's how I got into game design. Worked for a small company that was an abysmal failure, due to incompetent management and then started modding Neverwinter Nights. Just happen to be living in Austin at the time, when some guys at BioWare saw me modeling on my laptop. Asked what I was doing and told them modding for Neverwinter (Atari had pulled the plug on the Premium Modules at that point, but some of us invested too much time already into it, so we kept going.) Snagged me a job as a texture artist, then a modeler and finally an animator. Now, I'm freelance, mainly working in UE.

>scams like that rippaverse shit.

I like Eric - even sent him some samples to see if he had any side work as a colorist - but you're correct in the fact that all of his characters seem to be rip-offs of other established characters. Very disappointing. I expected more from him when I saw the previews of his Rippaverse. HeDIDget good pencillers and inkers, though. I'll give him that. Better than some of the trash I've seen from Marvel/DC. The buyout of Dark Horse was a disappointment, but they haven't really put out anything good, either. I wasn't even a fan of Mignola's later Hellboy stuff and I always loved his style. Reminded me of an edgy Walt Simonson.

Kek. I can't wait for when Americans find out that 9-11 was Israel's op. Are we going to see the internment camps again, while we glass the Chosen Land™??

Ironic that this faggot, right here, is bitching about people who are using Hitler as a political weapon, as he uses Hitler as a political weapon. The hubris of the Chosen Ones™ knows no bounds.
