Pure speculation
Many have questioned if Strzok and Page were actually lovers.
After hearing limited reports of Page's closed door testimony and how she conducted herself - specifically that Page (no longer an employee of the government) was conducting when the FBI counsel should object to Congressional questioning - leads me to believe that she is a very sharp legal mind (see interview Tucker Carlson/R Congressman Darrell Issa 7-16-2018).
Why is this important?
If Strzok and Page were not lovers then why the plethora of e-mails?
Page was functioning as the legal conduit (HRC/Obama/Deep State?) to Strzok to ensure that the HRC investigation would not result in an indictment and that Strzok's Trump investigation would be as harsh as possible.
I think she was a honey pot that Strzok was wanting to impress.
Strange that we never see any affection in the back and forth of the e-mail exchanges.
Again, pure speculation, but my bullshit meter has been going off on this one for a while.
And if Strzok/Page were never sleeping together as reported that might explain why Strzok would defend himself as such the super patriot.
He might actually believe that taking the personal hit on the false narrative of their extra-marital affair makes him the super patriot.
