i'm an oldfag….58. in the 80's Trump was the man every young boy wanted to be. he was a darling of the media…of the so-called zeitgeist. i studied business in college and Art of the Deal was part of the curriculum. the things he says in 2024 about how America gets screwed on foreign trade are the same things he was saying in 1980. Youtube TV appearances of Trump from those days…Rona Barrett, Larry King, Oprah, etc. He was beloved by everyone until the day he rode down that escalator in 2015.
