Reposting this from end of last bread:
Anyone remember Kik? It was a released in 2010 and was more popular than Snapchat for quite a few years.
Well, like Snapchat, Kik users can be found via their Kik username only unless you have the person's phone number in your contacts.
During the Obama administration, people were using a website with the url, kikfinder.com, to post their username, age, sex, and a short description for what they wanted others to see before copying their username and messaging them on Kik. This way, people could connect to random people and have an idea of the other person and what they wanted to talk about before adding them.
As one would expect, this was mostly used for people to hook up, find people to roleplay with, etc.
The darker side to this was that people were using this practically anonymous network to connect with people for illegal purposes.
Many people were offering to trade, sell, or buy nudes. Totally understandable as this even happens with Snapchat to this day. The difference is that people paired this with the Dropbox app, a cloud storage service that people can use links to share the contents of someone's cloud storage content. This became the carrier for trading VAST amounts of CP videos and pictures. Kikfinder.com was used to advertise these trades, Kik was used to conduct the trades, and Dropbox links filled with illegal content was the product being traded.
I believe it was very shortly after Trump took office in 2017 that the Kikfinder.com website was completely scrubbed from the internet, Kik users dropped off and went to Snapchat and Kik declined until it failed and was later bought, and Dropbox scrubbed people's accounts of illegal content.
Anyone who thinks Trump isn't actually about fighting pedophilia is wrong 100%. I saw all of this happen firsthand. That was my #1 confirmation into the whole Q thing. When Q stuff started coming out, I quickly connected the dots back to what I saw get taken down and the timing of it all.
Idk if this is noteworthy, or if this had ever been talked about here before, but I hope this brings hope and confirmation to those who maybe think things haven't been done. I want people to know that networks like this one did go down almost immediately after Trump took office the first time.
