$20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 Google fine ‘symbolic’ – Kremlin

The unspeakable sum should prompt the company to heed the demands of banned Russian broadcasters, Dmitry Peskov has said

The staggering fine of $20 decillion Google now owes to Russian broadcasters who were banned from YouTube is “symbolic” and intended to push the company to rectify the issues it has with them, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said.

The eye-watering sum is supposed to make the company “pay attention” to the problem and fix it, Peskov suggested on Thursday.

“This is a specifically formulated sum, I actually can’t even pronounce this figure, but it is rather filled with symbolism,” he said, explaining that Google “should not limit the actions of our broadcasters on a whim.”

The colossal figure was first reported by RBK news outlet on Tuesday and stems from a series of lawsuits filed against Google by 17 Russian broadcasters which accused the tech giant of unlawfully blocking content and taking down their YouTube channels.

Russian investigators open criminal case against US mercenary

Robert Werthman is one of several Americans accused of committing murder and terrorism in Kursk

While in Kursk, Werthman committed “a number of serious and especially serious crimes,” including murder, attempted murder, terrorism, property damage, theft, illegal use of firearms, mercenarism, and illegal crossing of the state border, the committee said.

The case was opened in absentia, and investigators are currently working to determine Werthman’s whereabouts.

Werthman has supposedly been fighting in the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2020. According to unverified information gleaned from social media, he boasted about “trophy hunting” on the battlefield, and attempted to sell uniforms, watches, and even bones taken from fallen Russian soldiers.

Video footage purportedly filmed by Werthman in Kursk showed the American fighter vandalizing a school library.

Werthman is one of multiple American mercenaries believed to be fighting in Kursk. Earlier this month, the Russian Investigative Committee opened a similar case against Derrick Bales, a US citizen and owner of the Forward Observations Group, which refers to itself as a military-style brand that sells tactical gear and accessories.

Russian maintains that the Forward Observations Group is a private military company. On its Instagram page, the group has posted photos of Bales and other Americans fighting in Kursk and the Donbass.

”All foreign ‘specialists’ or mercenaries who illegally cross the Russian border will automatically be considered legitimate military targets for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry warned the US in August.

Mail Ballots Without Dates Must Be Counted: Pennsylvania Court

A Pennsylvania court ruled on Oct. 30 that the state’s requirement for mail-in ballots to be correctly dated in order to be counted is unconstitutional, though the 3–2 decision, according to the judge’s opinion, applies only to a past special election.

A Commonwealth Court panel upheld a ruling by a Philadelphia judge stating that 69 ballots from the special election, submitted on time but lacking handwritten dates, must be counted.

“We cannot countenance any law governing elections, determined to be mandatory or otherwise, that has the practical effect in its application of impermissibly infringing on certain individuals’ fundamental right to vote,” she said later. “We are not being asked to make changes with respect to the impending 2024 General Election.”

Judge Orders Arizona’s Democrat Secretary of State to Release List of 218,000 Registered Voters Who Did Not Provide Proof of Citizenship

Today, the Superior Court of Arizona issued a ruling in America First Legal’s (AFL) lawsuit against the Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and the Secretary of State’s Office, ordering Secretary Fontes to immediately produce the list of individuals who registered to vote without providing proof of citizenship as required by law. The number of individuals affected by this issue is approximately 218,000.

Secretary Fontes announced in September that a longtime computer glitch had allowed 218,000 individuals to register to vote without providing proof of citizenship, even though Arizona law requires such proof. Earlier this month, AFL sued to obtain this list on behalf of the Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona, known as “EZAZ.org.” Arizona’s Public Records Law requires Secretary Fontes to produce this type of voter information for members of the public who request it, and Secretary Fontes’s Office regularly produces voter lists in response to such requests. After Secretary Fontes violated the law and refused to hand over these records, AFL swiftly sued to demand accountability.

This lawsuit is critically important to the integrity of the upcoming presidential election as the official results for the presidential race in Arizona 2020 list the margin of victory as being only 10,457 votes.

Today, AFL has secured a win after the Court ruled that the Secretary of State must produce this list by Monday, November 4, 2024 — one day before the U.S. presidential election.

Upon obtaining the list, EZAZ.org intends to immediately share it with the County Recorders in all Arizona counties so that they can verify the citizenship of voters who have not already provided proof of citizenship, as required by Arizona law (A.R.S. § 16-121.01 and 16-165). The Arizona legislature also requested this list from Secretary Fontes and was denied. Accordingly, EZAZ.org intends to share the list with the leadership and election committees of the Arizona House and Senate.

At trial, Secretary Fontes testified that his office only possesses a partial list of 98,000 of the 218,000 affected individuals because the Arizona Motor Vehicles Division has not yet provided him with a complete list. However, the court found that Secretary Fontes “provided inconsistent testimony on this point” and that “[h]is testimony suggested that he lacked detailed familiarity with the AZSOS’s efforts with regard to the issue and with regard to the records in the possession of the AZSOS related to the 218,000 individuals.” The court’s order requires Secretary Fontes to produce the list of 98,000 individuals that he has along with any other personally identifying information that he has about the 218,000 individuals.

AFL remains committed to protecting the integrity of U.S. elections and ensuring that only U.S. citizens can vote.

Statement from James Rogers, America First Legal Senior Counsel:

“A majority of Arizonans no longer trust the election system of our state. One of the reasons is the lack of transparency from our state’s elected officials. When Secretary Fontes discovered the glitch that allowed 218,000 individuals to register without providing proof of citizenship, he should have immediately shared the list of affected individuals with Arizona’s county recorders, who are in charge of verifying the citizenship of voters. Instead, he has jealously guarded the list, refusing to share it with anyone. This suit was about restoring transparency and ensuring that county recorders can do their jobs by verifying the citizenship of voters. It is unfortunate that Secretary Fontes so aggressively opposed our common-sense efforts to help restore trust in our state’s election system. This was a case we never should have needed to file,” said James Rogers.

False Flag incoming

Iran Readies Major Retaliatory Strike From Iraq 'In Coming Days': Israeli Officials

possibly before the US presidential election…

While most regional observers believe the tit-for-tat has cooled down, reflected in declining oil prices this week, the Axios report cites a pair of Israeli officials to say "Israeli intelligence suggests Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraqi territory in the coming days, possibly before the US presidential election."

CNN too has been reporting the fresh threats, on Wednesday writing the following based on Iranian military sources:

“The response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the aggression of the Zionist regime will be definitive and painful,” the source, who is familiar with Iran’s deliberations, said.
