Poll workers HATE TRANSPARENCY!
When did you give them authority to deny your first amendment rights?
Photography is only forbidden during voting hours, and that doesn't count for your own ballot. There is absolutely no reason, and government has no weighty enough interest, to deny your RIGHT to record the process after voting has ended.
The Supreme Court in 1972's Branzburg v. Hayes described as "a fundamental personal right", not confined to newspapers and periodicals.
I don't know why so many like to think it's only for media corporations. I see that argument all the time.
