You did not care when you were snatching other people's children and giving them to your friends; why should we care about you now?

As votes are cast where silence dwells,

You took their laughter, tales to tell,

The innocent dreams, wrenched away,

To feed the greed of those who sway.

Childhoods stolen, hearts in chains,

Bound by sorrow, loss, and pains,

You danced on the ruins, cloaked in pride,

While cries for justice, were brushed aside.

Now, when the tide of fate does turn,

And echoes of conscience start to burn,

Why should our hearts extend their grace,

To those who taught such dark embrace?

The thread of kinship frays and snaps,

In the wake of power's cruel laps,

You forged your path with selfish might,

Yet wonder, now, in the fading light.

Compassion's hand, too thin to lend,

To those who've left the broken mend,

For in the mirror, truth reflects,

No care remains for cold neglects.
