Jesus wanted his disciples to drink wine (as adults), mainly because of the health aspects one can derive from it, however as with anything, the 'spirits' has to be honest i.e. of Christian origin / not-for-profit and ecological.

the lsd aspect, I think that if you have a soul, Jesus will always be with you, as spoken by him in the bible, so any challenge in life, where you do not end up in hell and where Jesus can not communicate with you, as Jesus is in heaven and not in hell, he will be at your side to help you deal with the effects of lsd as well.
