Google has over 100k programmers that are probably more stringently tested than any other company in existence. I was asked to program a spreadsheet that calculates in a reverse circle, because accountants work that way, right. The fix isn't coming, the fix was in, treason.

When I put my ballot into the machine, it just went from processing to ready state. I asked if I should hit the cast button but the poll watcher said do not do that, it is all automatic. I do not trust these systems as I have no receipt and neither do any one of you. If my software was implemented, everyone would have their ballot as a receipt, know what number vote they were out of the thousands in their district and could verify it on a counting server and see their assigned number and the last 20 digits of their encrypted hash out of 512 characters as proof, and we could even replay the election in a few minutes and recount the totals. It doesn't matter who votes but who counts, and there is zero ways to know if your vote was actually counted on any of these machines.

Still does not negate what I said and offered.

  1. No one has a receipt of their ballot

  2. No one know what number out of the thousands of district votes they are

  3. No one can assure that the machine actually counted their vote and wasn't programmed to read processed, so later they can dump them.

  4. If you can get a receipt from food shopping and match it to your bank transaction, it is obviously true and done millions of times a day.

  5. You can never vote someone out of office until the next election. My system also does recalls at any interval: hours, days, weeks, months, years.

Let's hope some of the corrections were good enough. At least I could have gone to any machine this time and not an assigned one. But there are nefarious ways to cheat with paper, for example a poll worker could have access to a programmable foot switch that no one ever takes into consideration. Not saying they did this, but talking about maturity and capability models.
