In a surprising turn of events, Donald Trump, Hungaryâs Hungarian prime minister Viktor OrbĂĄn, and Pope Francis could usher in a new era of peace in Europe and help end the conflict in Ukraine.
UKâs paper The Independent spoke to Hungaryâs ambassador to the Vatican, Eduard Habsburg-Lothringen, who is attempting to create an international coalition to find a âpeace deal.â
The ambassador says Pope Francis has played an important role in supporting a deal, with Trump pushing for Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to do what everyone knows has to happen: recognize Russiaâs territorial conquests.
This comes as British PM Keir Starmer met in Paris with French president Emmanuel Macron to âensure support for Kyiv continueâ a.k.a. ensure the war continues.

Kamala Harrisâs failed presidential campaign reportedly funneled $500,000 to Al Sharptonâs nonprofit, the National Action Network (NAN), just weeks before a lackluster interview with the professional race hustler on MSNBC.
According to a report by the Washington Free Beacon, Harrisâs donation was part of a larger $5.4 million spending spree aimed at boosting her favorability among Black and Latino groups â a strategy that, as we know, fell flat.
Federal campaign finance records reveal Harrisâs campaign issued two payments of $250,000 each to Sharptonâs National Action Network in early September and October. Just days after the contributions, Sharpton aired a video of Harris offering him birthday greetings, where she praised his âextraordinary leadershipâ and role as a âvoice of truth.â

Dear Border Czar: This Nonprofit Boasts A List Of 400 Companies That Employ Migrants

President-elect Donald Trump made public safety and national security a central element of his campaign, ensuring the American people that illegal aliens would be deported.
On Monday, incoming "border czar," Tom Homan, told "Fox & Friends" hosts, "Public safety threats and national security threats will be the priorityâŚthey pose the most danger to this country."
Homan said, "Where do we find most victims of sex trafficking and forced labor trafficking? At worksitesâŚ"
Homan's comment about the potential for large-scale worksite raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents next year reminded us of a note we shared with readers in March titled "How Shadowy Network Of NGOs Supplies Mega-Corporations With Migrants To Exploit Cheap Labor."
In that case, Tent boasts a massive network of 400 companies hiring migrants.
Here's the partial listâŚ
Homan's team will have a field day with Tent's list.
America can no longer afford to have ten-plus million unvetted illegal aliens running around the nation.
Mega-corporations that have displaced US workers with migrants over the years are likely to face significant labor challenges next year if worksite raids are conducted by ICE. Perhaps it's time to consider hiring American workers again.

U.S. Democrats VOTED DOWN a bill that would have forced all meat products to clearly be labeled if injected mRNA vaccines. DNA and RNA have been in vaccines for pigs in the U.S. since 2017.
John Graff, a nutritionist, chemist, process engineer, agribusiness executive, and a board director of the National Citizenâs Inquiry, shared on a podcast recently about where Canada is currently in getting mRNA into their food supply.
âmRNA vaccines are entering our food chain in several species. So currently all farmed shrimp are being vaccinated with mRNA. Currently pork is an unknown amount is being vaccinated with mRNA.â

Ontario had the lowest per capita GDP growth out of all provinces since 2000
https://tnc.news/2024/11/14/ontario-had-the-lowest-per-capita-gdp/
A new study paints a grim economic picture for Canadaâs most populated province.
According to a recent Fraser Institute study, Ontario recorded the lowest inflation-adjusted per-person GDP growth of all the provinces from 2000-2022, with 0.7% per capita GDP growth. In contrast, Newfoundland recorded the highest growth of the provinces, 3.6% per capita growth.
Since 2000, Ontario has been lagging behind Quebec in several economic indicators, including growth and public financing, a province it has historically been ahead of.
âWhile Quebec at the start of the 21st century had some of the worst economic results and poor public finances in the country, that distinction now belongs to Ontario,â said Livio Di Matteo, a senior fellow at the Fraser Institute and author of the study said in a news release.
The study compared Ontario and Quebec, Canadaâs largest populations and economies.
While Ontarioâs âweakâ GDP growth ranked it the lowest among provinces, Quebecâs average growth rose by 1.2% over the same period. In 2000, Quebecâs per-person GDP was 80.4% of Ontarioâs, but by 2022, it was 90.6%. ContinueâŚ
Toronto shootout spurs police associations to call on Liberals for bail reform

Three of Ontarioâs largest police associations are demanding immediate action from the federal government to overhaul Canadaâs bail system after plainclothes officers narrowly escaped injury in a Toronto shootout on Monday.
The Toronto Police Association, Ontario Provincial Police Association, and Police Association of Ontario issued a joint statement Wednesday, calling for immediate legislative change to Canadaâs bail system by urging the Liberals to prioritize public safety by keeping repeat and violent offenders behind bars until trial.
The call follows an active shootout in Toronto, which saw 16 guns seized and 23 people arrested, including a young offender with three firearms prohibitions.
Deputy Chief Lauren Pogue said she was unsure about the legality of the guns in this instance but confirmed that âwell over 80% of the guns are coming from the U.S. illegally.â
A previous record gun bust in Peel showed that 69 out of 71 of the guns seized were smuggled from the United States.
Despite close to 100 shots being fired on Monday, nobody was injured.

Toronto food banks see unprecedented demand, surpassing cityâs population
https://tnc.news/2024/11/14/toronto-food-banks-see-unprecedented-demand-surpassing-population/
Toronto food banks now receive more visits annually than the entire cityâs population.
According to the Daily Bread Food Bank and North York Harvest Food Bankâs annual Whoâs Hungry report, there were 3.49 million client visits to Toronto food banks between Apr. 1, 2023, and Mar. 31, 2024. The cityâs population is just over 3 million people.
The 3.49 million visits mark a nearly 1 million increase from the previous year and a 273% increase since before the pandemic.
âIt is unfathomable that the number of client visits to food banks is now higher than the City of Torontoâs entire population,â said Neil Hetherington, CEO of Daily Bread Food Bank. âOur governments cannot continue to stand by as people are pushed further into poverty due to astronomical housing and food prices, years of inflation, stagnating wages and insufficient income supports. We need and demand action now.â
The study revealed that more than one in ten Torontonians rely on food banks, a 36% increase in unique clients from last year.
âWhile eight new locations were opened to meet the growing demand in our communities this past year, this cannot explain the enormous increase in client visits,â reads the report. âMore food banks are not the solution to addressing the root causes of hunger in our city.â
Across the country, food bank visits rose 90% in the last five years.
Over four in five, 82%, of new food bank clients are newcomers to Canada, arriving within the last five years. 36% of new clients were temporary residents. ContinueâŚ
Trumpâs new âborder czarâ concerned with Canadaâs lax border security
https://tnc.news/2024/11/14/trumps-border-czar-canadas-border-security/
President-elect Donald Trump has appointed a new âborder czarâ who promises to be tough on illegal immigration and has challenged Canada to secure the US-Canada border amid high levels of terrorist suspects being caught.
During a local broadcast on Channel 7 News in Waterford, New York, on Monday, Tom Homan, the former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Trumpâs border appointee, discussed Americaâs northern border with Canada. Homan, from West Carthage, N.Y., just southeast of Thousand Islands, Ontario, said he wonât let Canadaâs weak border security impact his home.
âRaw numbers, the southern border, of course, has more crossings, but percentage-wise, you got a lot fewer resources up here in border patrol agents,â he said. âSo theyâre overwhelmed, and theyâre not catching a lot of them because thereâs only so much the few resources up here can do.â
He said the USâs northern border poses a âbig national security vulnerabilityâ after President Joe Biden and his border czar Kamala Harris sent half of its border patrol agents to the southern border.
Homan vowed to hire more northern border security agents and end catch-and-release policies, which have illegal immigrants being arrested and then released on promises to appear in court, which he said in many cases they âneverâ do.
âIf youâre going across the northern border from St Lawrence River, the lake or on foot, they need to know right from the start, you can come, but youâre going to be arrested,â he said. âYouâre not going to be released; weâll remove you. Itâs not going to be like the Biden administrationâŚYouâre not walking away. Weâre going to lock you up.â
Homan said the US-Canada border is a âhuge national security issueâ as âspecial interest aliens,â or immigrants coming from countries that sponsor terrorism, use Canada as a gateway to the US. ContinueâŚ
Guilbeault proposes new global carbon tax on maritime shipping
https://tnc.news/2024/11/14/guilbeault-global-tax-maritime-shipping/
Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault said the government is âvery supportiveâ of the concept of creating a new levy on emissions caused by maritime transportation.
As global leaders gathered in Baku, Azerbaijan at COP29 this week to discuss climate change, Guilbeault told reporters that the private sector could help close out the gap in the USD $2 trillion funding shortfall for developing countries as they try to fight climate change.
The environment minister said Canada will spend $160 million to launch a new fund called GAIA to finance projects that aim to reduce emissions in lower-income countries.
According to Guilbeault, the new fund will include direct grants as well as long-term loans with the goal of getting $2 billion from private sources as well as the government.
Among the strategies discussed, Guilbeault suggested creating a carbon taxon shipping emissions.
âWe are very supportive of the discussions that are happening at the International Marine Organization to put in place some kind of levy on international marine transportation,â he said on Tuesday.
The idea was championed by director of environmental affairs at the Shipping Federation of Canada Miako Ushio, who said her organization would like to see a global carbon price for the sector.
While no formal policy has been enacted, Guilbeault believes the wheels are in motion. ContinueâŚ
