I'm wondering if Biden is displaced now and Austin fears DJT invoking Alien Enemies Act now.
The military would have to protect the Country from invasion. The 1st paragraph calls something like that a "policy choice" This looks like a desperate attempt at linguistic gymnastics. Biden would become guilty of treason and military would detain him until the invasion is repelled. This memo reads like an attempt to head of a division in the loyalty of military Austin thinks is imminent
I'm not so sure that's true. Northcom has already been activated, CNN is getting out ahead of the Alien Enemies Act and putting on guests to tell the viewers DJT has to go through deportation process that is long and involves Courts. They are lying and ignoring DJT saying he is invoking the AEA.
Biden is coming out to speak in 1 hour . I bet he reasserts his authority. That would only happen if there is a dualling narrative of who is in charge of Military.
