We always suspected something was off with those anti-Trump Capitol Police officers who lied under oath about January 6, dutifully following orders from their queen bee, Nancy Pelosi.

But we didn’t realize just how unhinged some of them were—until now. Case in point: former cop Michael Fanone, a particularly deranged Trump-hater who completely lost it after President Trump’s historic 2024 victory.

It seems Mr. Fanone feels like the walls are closing in. Could it be because he lied under oath (and in his book and during an HBO documentary) about having a “heart attack” and a brain injury supposedly caused by January 6th?

Many would call Mr. Fanone a typical “dirty cop.” And after his latest antics, you might agree.

According to a new report, Mr. Fanone is holed up in the mountains, armed and drinking beer, waiting for “Trump agents” to arrive so he can engage in a shootout. Yes, you read that right—this former cop told The Washington Post that he’d rather “die” than face a “military tribunal.”

Clearly, he knows his lies are catching up with him.
