🐧 Emperor penguin swims from Antarctica to Australia to "bathe", covering more than 3,000 km alone

 

According to ABC News Australia, the penguin had to cover more than 3,400 km. This is the longest journey ever recorded for this species of bird. Moreover, his "swim" established the northernmost point where an emperor penguin has ever been seen in the wild.

 

The traveler is now under the care of animal rights activists.
