You know… I walked into a church around a little over a decade ago. Saw the basin when I walked in and dipped my fingers in to do the head/heart/shoulders sign of the cross thing for the first time and I got like a static electric shock from the water. Thought to myself, "Ah ha! They're electrifying the water to fool the gullible." I liked the thought of what the church was supposed to represent, but I never believed. Now, after what's come into my life within the past year… I'm not so sure it was what I first thought it was. True story, no embellishment.
