Thinking about what the win condition looks like today.

Thousands year old death cult is in the process of losing or has lost. I assume that if they aren’t suicide vesting the planet they must either be bargaining for their lives or have been left ineffectual.

I wonder how far they can negotiate with the white hats. Prison instead of death? Exile instead of prison? Monitored clean slate instead of exile? Hard to say.

Certain actors must be given up to the gallows for justice, I would think. So maybe the middle management are selling out the boss men.

I just hope that whatever happens, this evil is routed out forever. The satanic cult, the physical enemy of humanity led by the spiritual enemy of humanity must be destroyed and prevented from reemerging forever.

After the cult is destroyed, we are left with the aftereffects. The brainwashed, rouge agents, a world to rebuild.

They are inbred. Literally in some cases, but also in terms of their competency and resolve. Over time, they have become cocky, undisciplined, and decrepit. There is a real competency crisis at the head of the death cult. They are out of touch, out of their minds, and stupider than their grandfathers.
