Have you ever stopped to consider you may not know as much as you think you do?
Most people can parse the nuance of working in a system. You don't always get the leadership you would prefer, but you can note when it is an improvement…. And, sometimes, even if you're right in the meeting room, you have to go with what the customer will pay for.
What I will warn you about, though, is that the Islamic lobby is an order of magnitude larger than the Israeli lobby, and it far smaller than the Chinese lobby. Israel isn't the only one which benefits from keeping a militarized conflict front and center in the headlines. It is an excellent way to coral those easily motivated minds into fundamentalist efforts. For China, the foreign entrapments of the U.S. are a hindrance not only to our geostrategic goals, but our internal social stability.
Believing that the removal of an ethnic group from society (or "just the Zionists") will improve it is to believe that there is something mystical or magical about "the blood." Gnosticism is considerably dangerous as it argues that one starts from a place of having secret knowledge, which usually boils down to: "the world isn't real" and then branches off in various flavors of nihilistic coping - which often manifests in some quest to salvage the real deities or to elevate man back into a deity.
A task wich sounds fun until you end up eliminating all impurity in that quest until left with yourself.
