I'm the same way, I get all antsy and sit where I can't even see the parade. Usually it's just big events that freak me out, concerts and that. You know I haven't even gotten onto a plane since people were allowed to smoke on them? LOL! I love parades and bier though.

I'm also in a city where the bleeding hearts weren't bleeding for us at all. I learned from that. They don't give a shit at all about anything, just signal that they do. That's my experience. I've kept a few liberal friends, I wouldn't have kept them if they weren't open minded though. They keep me balanced so I don't fall too far on either side into extremism.

Same, my grandpa would be tickled to know I'm using his bible. I got it when he died. I haven't a clue what type of bible I'm looking at. But there's maps in there, translations of syrian and hebrew passages. My grandpa even made notes as a scholar in there defining other things.
He also left crumbs in there. Family tree ones, but still crumbs lol
