Older single ladies used to hire children from the neighborhood to mow their lawns. That's what kids did back then, they delivered newspapers and mowed neighbors lawns - both my brothers did. They both grew into very successful business men. They both played football in H.S. and my older brother was the best Quarterback at a Chicago H.S. and was in the paper when we left Chicago back in the 80's because they were losing their best Quarterback ever!
