The Federal Reserve Board on Wednesday invited comment on a report, as prescribed by law, that discusses the impact of a proposed international capital standard for large, internationally active insurance groups on U.S. consumers and markets. The joint report was completed with the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

CONSUMER PRICE INDEX - OCTOBER 2024

The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) increased 0.2 percent on a seasonally adjusted basis in October, the same increase as in each of the previous 3 months, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics

reported today. Over the last 12 months, the all items index increased 2.6 percent before seasonal adjustment.
