Far too common a story in my life is people getting it in their heads that I'm a sucker. Eventually, when they decide to act upon that belief, they find out that I simply don't value things the same way that most people do. Then, after they've outed themselves as a scam artist, things get awkward.
The "why" is going to be brutal for a lot of people who are convinced they've got the right of things. iirc, it's said that at the end nobody will actually know Christ. Consider the implications of that when you feel that you're current living in those times.
Interesting framing. I've just been dabbling in other prophecy recently, where Nostradamus speaks of people ruling under Ogmios' banner, by careful forgery.
Haha, you've got that right. My personal opinion is that a true prophecy will be true whether or not anyone believes it. I like talking about prophecy because it really fucks with people who look for truth in everything but the actual real world itself.
