Dear Border Czar: This Nonprofit Boasts A List Of 400 Companies That Employ Migrants

President-elect Donald Trump made public safety and national security a central element of his campaign, ensuring the American people that illegal aliens would be deported.

On Monday, incoming "border czar," Tom Homan, told "Fox & Friends" hosts, "Public safety threats and national security threats will be the priority…they pose the most danger to this country."

Homan said, "Where do we find most victims of sex trafficking and forced labor trafficking? At worksites…"

Homan's comment about the potential for large-scale worksite raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents next year reminded us of a note we shared with readers in March titled "How Shadowy Network Of NGOs Supplies Mega-Corporations With Migrants To Exploit Cheap Labor."

Earlier this year, Bloomberg paraded Turkish billionaire businessman and founder of the Chobani yogurt empire, Hamdi Ulukaya, a top Kamala Harris supporter, who, according to public records data, is one of the officers of the Tent Partnership for Refugees, an advisory nonprofit that companies use to work with resettlement agencies, staffing agencies, and other nonprofits, to source cheap migrant labor.

In March, Ulukaya explained to Bloomberg that "employing refugees and committing to their successful onboarding is what's driving Chobani's success" and allowed it to double its earnings in the first nine months of 2023.

A separate Bloomberg note showed that Tyson Foods partnered with Ulukaya's Tent for cheap labor. As of March, Tyson employed a whopping 42,000 immigrants among its 120,000 US workforce.

"We would like to employ another 42,000 if we could find them," Garrett Dolan, who leads Tyson's efforts to eliminate employment barriers, said in March.

What's very clear is that migrants did not aimlessly walk across the wide-open southern border and then find instant job placements that displaced and replaced blue-collar native-born workers. There is a massive NGO network, internationally and domestically, that channels unvetted migrants from foreign lands into US factories.

Suppose the Trump administration wants to learn more about potential worksites that have hired migrants over the years.

US military contractor fined millions over torture

CACI Premier Technology is responsible for the inhumane treatment of three men held at the notorious Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, a jury has found

A jury in Virginia has found a US defense contractor liable for its role in the torture of three Iraqi civilians at Abu Ghraib prison near Baghdad 20 years ago during Washington’s invasion into Iraq. The victims of the inhumane treatment were awarded a total of $42 million in damages.

In a landmark verdict on Tuesday, CACI Premier Technology Inc was found “liable for conspiring to torture and cruel, inhuman, and degrading treatment” of Suhail Al Shimari, a middle school principal, Asaad Zubae, a fruit vendor, and Salah Al-Ejaili, a journalist, the Center of Constitutional Rights, a non-profit advocacy organization, said in a press release.

The victims were held in the part of the Iraqi prison where the most inhumane abuses occurred, the statement said, adding that “along with hundreds of other Iraqis tortured at Abu Ghraib, they have suffered long-standing physical and emotional effects.”

Pennsylvania Senate Race Heads To Recount, Despite Clear Lead For McCormick

The last race for the United States Senate in the 2024 cycle that has not yet been called is now heading for a recount, even as the Republican candidate has a decisive lead over the Democratic incumbent.

As the Daily Caller reports, the statewide recount in the Pennsylvania Senate race began on Wednesday, as challenger Dave McCormick (R-Penn.) leads Senator Bob Casey (D-Penn.) by about 28,000 votes. Although Casey himself chose not to pursue a recount, Pennsylvania Secretary of State Al Schmidt (D-Penn.) decided to order a recount anyway, as the margin between the two is less than the 0.5% threshold required for a recount.

The recount must begin by November 20th and finish by November 26th. However, it is widely expected that the outcome will not change and McCormick will successfully unseat Casey. McCormick has already attended his Senate orientation in Washington D.C., after outgoing Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) initially refused to let him attend due to the close margin.

The race has been called for McCormick by the Associated Press, NPR, and Fox News, as well as multiple statewide and local media outlets, while all other national outlets have refused to call it.

Spokesmen from both sides have accused the other campaign of trying to suppress voters before and during the recount. Adam Bonin, an attorney for Casey’s campaign, claimed that Republican activists are trying to hinder the counting of provisional ballots. McCormick advisor Mark Harris fired back by claiming that Democratic counties are deliberately slowing down the count by withholding processed ballot totals.

“This is clearly an effort to use lawfare to chip away at our lead,” said Harris. “This is not going to work. Dave McCormick is the senator-elect and will be the senator.”

Some of the disputes during the count include an effort by Democratic officials in Bucks County to count over 400 mail-in ballots that lack handwritten dates, with Republicans suing to block the inclusion of these ballots.

Casey was first elected to the Senate in the blue wave of 2006, defeating Republican Senator Rick Santorum (R-Penn.). McCormick, a hedge fund manager, first tried to run for the Senate seat vacated by the retirement of Pat Toomey (R-Penn.) in 2022, only to narrowly lose the Republican primary to TV host Dr. Oz by less than 1,000 votes. McCormick was unchallenged in this year’s primary, and is set to become the only successful Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in the three critical Rust Belt states.

McCormick is one of four Republicans who successfully flipped a Democratic seat in the Senate this year, alongside Senators-elect Jim Justice (R-W.V.), Bernie Moreno (R-Ohio), and Tim Sheehy (R-Mont.).

Dutch PM Suggests Using Anti-Terror Laws to Revoke Citizenship From Amsterdam ‘Jew Hunt’ Attackers

Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof has suggested that dual nationals involved in the antisemitic “pogrom” in Amsterdam last week could have their citizenship revoked from the Netherlands under existing anti-terror laws.

During a debate in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Prime Minister Schoof said that it is “conceivable” to revoke Dutch passports from dual nationals who took part in what has been described as a “Jew hunt” following a Maccabi Tel Aviv soccer match last Thursday in Amsterdam.

The attacks saw roaming gangs of young men — alleged to be mainly of Moroccan and North African heritage — conduct ‘hit and run’ attacks on visiting Israeli supporters, leaving over two dozen injured. The attackers used scooters to quickly come upon their victims and flee the scene before police could respond. It has been reported that the “pogrom” was organised on messaging apps and assisted by taxi drivers, who were aware of the locations of Israeli supporters.

Schoof told the Dutch Congress that the attacks could be classified as terrorism, which would enable the Public Prosecution Service to rescind citizenship and remove naturalised migrants who were involved from the country, broadcaster NOS reports.

“Terrorism aims to instil fear,” the prime minister said. “It is conceivable that the term terrorism fits last Thursday.”

Party for Freedom (PVV) leader Geert Wilders, the head of the strongest faction in the coalition government, has been leading the charge for deportations and the removal of citizenship, joined by partners in the centre-right People’s Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and the Farmer-Citizen Movement (BBB).

Responding to the suggestion from the PM of utilising existing anti-terror laws, Wilders wrote on X: “Great news! Prime Minister Schoof confirms that the Public Prosecution Service can prosecute the perpetrators on the basis of terrorism and that a conviction can lead to the withdrawal of Dutch nationality. No amendment to the law is required for this.”

The populist firebrand, known for his longstanding opposition to mass migration from the Muslim world, added that it is also being considered to make antisemitism grounds for revoking citizenship from migrants.

Israeli Forces Kill 47 Palestinians in Gaza Over 24 Hours

Israeli troops continued to forcibly displace civilians in the northern city of Beit Hanoun

Strikes were reported across the Gaza Strip, including an attack on a house in Jabalia in the north that killed at least 10, including children. Another Israeli strike targeted the so-called safe zone in al-Mawasi in the south, killing at least eight Palestinians.

An Israeli attack hit a tent camp in central Gaza’s Deir el-Balah, but the number of casualties is unclear. In the south, an Israeli strike hit a house in Khan Younis, killing eight, and an attack in Rafah killed at least one Palestinian.

Israeli forces in north Gaza continued to carry out an ethnic cleansing campaign, which is focused on the cities of Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Beit Hanoun. An Israeli strike near the Kamal Adwan hospital in Beit Lahia reportedly killed five Palestinians.

According to Reuters, Israeli forces in Beit Hanoun deepened their incursion and forced more Palestinian civilians to flee the area through an Israeli checkpoint. Residents said men were held and questioned while women and children were forced to travel to Gaza City.

IDF says it hit 30 Hezbollah sites in Beirut, Palestinian terror targets in Damascus

Strike in Syria said to kill 15 people; military issues evacuation orders to residents in targeted parts of Lebanese capital; over 140 rocket launchers destroyed in past week

Israeli warplanes on Thursday hit Hezbollah sites in Beirut after the military issued warnings to residents in targeted areas to evacuate their homes, saying they were located near assets belonging to the terror group. Footage shared by Lebanese media showed one of the strikes in the vicinity of Beirut’s international airport, as a passenger plane was seen taxiing in the background.

Jets also struck sites in Damascus belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terror group.

The Israel Defense Forces confirmed carrying out airstrikes in Syria, saying it targeted several buildings and command centers belonging to the PIJ. Syria’s state-run SANA news agency said the strikes killed 15 and wounded 16 others.

The strikes targeted two residential buildings in the Mezzeh district of the capital and the nearby city of Qudssaya, SANA said.

The Israeli military said the strikes were a “significant blow” to the Gaza Strip-based Palestinian terror group and its operatives.

The IDF has carried out numerous strikes in Syria in recent months, where Hezbollah has a presence, and which the terror group uses to smuggle arms into Lebanon. Other Iranian-backed terror groups that attack Israel also operate there.

Islamic Jihad carried out the October 7 onslaught alongside Hamas, and its operatives have also been involved in launching attacks on Israel from Lebanon, alongside Hezbollah.

Israel ignores Biden ‘ultimatum’ over Gaza aid, but U.S. will continue sending weapons regardless

A Biden administration ultimatum that Israel increase humanitarian aid into Gaza or risk losing access to some U.S. weapons has now passed. Israel did not meet the U.S. criteria, but the administration will continue sending weapons regardless.

Last month the Biden administration announced that the Israeli government had 30 days to increase humanitarian aid allowed into Gaza or else the country could lose access to some U.S. weapons.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin established the deadline in a letter to Israel’s ministers, in which it laid out 16 conditions that Israel would have to meet. “Failure to demonstrate a sustained commitment to implementing and maintaining these measures may have implications for U.S. policy,” it read.

When asked about the move during a press briefing State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller reiterated the need for Israel to act.

“The bottom line is we felt it was appropriate, if we are making clear to the Government of Israel that there are these changes that need to be implemented, that we give them an appropriate period of time to implement it – implement them,” he told reporters. “We didn’t think it was appropriate to send a letter and just say this has to happen overnight; we gave them a – made clear there’s a short window in which we want to see changes, because the humanitarian situation is so dire on the ground.”

That deadline has now passed and a group of aid organizations (including Oxfam and Save the Children) have published a detailed report showing that Israel has failed to meet any of the conditions mentioned in the Blinken/Austin letter.

“Israel’s actions failed to meet any of the specific criteria set out in the U.S. letter. Israel not only failed to meet the U.S. criteria that would indicate support to the humanitarian response, but concurrently took actions that dramatically worsened the situation on the ground, particularly in Northern Gaza,” reads the opening section. “That situation is in an even more dire state today than a month ago. The principals of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee now assess that ‘the entire Palestinian population in North Gaza is at imminent risk of dying from disease, famine and violence.’ The findings of this scorecard underscore Israel’s failure to comply with U.S. demands and international obligations. Israel should be held accountable for the end result of failing to ensure the adequate provision of food, medical, and other supplies to reach people in need.”

Israel did respond to one condition of the letter, announcing that it plans to open an aid crossing into Gaza at Kissufim, but there’s no indication that any humanitarian aid has actually traveled through it.

Despite this reality, the White House has made it clear that they don’t plan to withhold any weapons from Israel.

“I certainly don’t have a change in U.S. policy to announce today,” said State Department deputy spokesman Vedant Patel at Tuesday’s briefing. “We have seen some steps being taken. There need to be some additional steps that are also taken,” he added.

Patel was repeatedly pressed by reporters about the issue. “You guys were the ones that gave them the 30-day deadline,” said the AP’s Matt Lee. “It’s hard to see your answers today, such as they are, as anything other than kind of giving them a pass for not meeting the criteria that was laid out in the letter.”

Patel responded by deflecting from the letter and claiming that the U.S. would continue to monitor the situation.

“Certainly, Matt, I would not view it as giving them a pass,” said Patel. “Because, one, no one is up here – certainly I’m not – saying that the situation in Gaza or their humanitarian circumstances are rosy. It is a very dire circumstance. And what we need to see is we need to see these steps acted on. We need to see them implemented. And the ultimate hope is that through these steps some conditions have been created in which we can see things like additional aid, additional food trucks, additional measures being taken that ultimately will be beneficial to the Palestinian people in Gaza. That’s what we aim to see.”

CEO of Saudi Arabia's megacity project The Line steps down amid project challenges

Nadhmi Al-Nasr’s successor, Aiman al-Mudaifer, currently head of PIF's Local Real Estate Division, will serve as Neom’s acting CEO.

Long hailed as a city of the future, Neom serves as the focal point of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's ambitious Vision 2030 economic pivot from oil exports, envisioned as a sprawling urban, tourist, and industrial hub on the Red Sea.

Saudi Arabia's $900 billion PIF sovereign wealth fund is financing Neom, initially projected to cost upwards of $500 billion. Along with an alpine resort and a floating industrial district, the project also includes The Line, a pair of 105-mile (170-kilometer)-long mirrored skyscapes cutting through the northern desert.

Project faces cost escalations, delays

Unmet performance goals led to Nadhmi al-Nasr's departure from Neom, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters, though they did not disclose the specific targets. The project has also faced cost escalations and delays amid mounting pressure on PIF to prioritize viable investments amid low oil prices.

Al-Nasr’s successor, Aiman al-Mudaifer, currently head of PIF's Local Real Estate Division, will serve as Neom’s acting CEO.

At Least 15 Killed After Violent Israeli Strikes On Syrian Capital (Videos)

A violent wave of Israeli strikes targeted the Syrian capital, Damascus, on November 14, causing a large number of casualties.

The strikes targeted two residential buildings in the Mezzeh district of the capital and the nearby city of Qudssaya, according to Syrian state TV. The Mazzeh neighborhood hosts embassies, United Nations offices and security headquarters. Qudssaya, located on the outskirts of Damascus, is also considered a highly-secured area.

The state-run Syrian Arab News Agency reported later, citing a military official, that the strikes killed 15 people and wounded at least 16 others, including women and children.

The deadly Israeli strikes took place as Syria was preparing to welcome Ali Larijani, the senior adviser to the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. The senior Iranian official is expected to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to discuses the situation in the region.

Quebec breaks Canadian federal criminal law and allows advance requests for MAiD

While the Criminal Code of Canada prohibits advance requests for MAiD, as of 30 October Quebec has implemented a law allowing people to make early requests for MAiD, specifying a date in the future to be killed by a doctor.

Quebec adopted the law last year for people with a serious and incurable illness, such as Alzheimer’s disease, to make early requests for MAiD. The law means that people can arrange in advance to receive doctor-assisted suicide when their condition worsens, be it months or years in the future. Previously, people who received MAiD had to be able to consent right up until the last moment.

Eerily, “the provincial government says it’s ready to meet the expected demand brought on by expanding the programme,” according to The Montreal Gazette.

As GWU! explains below, doctors are concerned that this new law puts patients and physicians at risk of mistakes and abuse. It also raises questions about the legality of euthanasia as Canadian statute prohibits consenting to be killed by another person.

FEC Chairman: Biden DOJ Broke Federal Policies With Letter Targeting Musk

On Wednesday, the chairman of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) admitted that the outgoing Biden-Harris Department of Justice (DOJ) violated federal policies and illegally targeted “perceived political opponents” by sending a threatening letter to Elon Musk.

According to the Washington Examiner, FEC Chairman Sean Cooksey sent a letter to DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, saying that the letter to Musk concerning his efforts to encourage people to support freedom of speech constituted an attempt “to intimidate and chill private citizens and organizations from campaigning on behalf of President Trump.”

Cooksey also recommended that Horowitz, along with the DOJ’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), open investigations into the incident and “hold accountable any individuals responsible for any violations of federal law or department policies.”

The letter in question was sent to Musk by the DOJ just weeks before the election on November 5th. In it, DOJ officials warned Musk’s America PAC that the pledge to give away $1 million every day to a randomly-selected voter who signed the PAC’s petition in support of freedom of speech was allegedly a violation of federal law. The letter also accused Musk of making “a mockery of democracy.”

Musk defended his PAC’s actions, pointing out that participants at the time did “not need to register as Republicans or vote in the Nov. 5 elections.”

“The underlying motivation behind this stunt is obvious,” said Cooksey in his scathing letter to the DOJ. “Employees of President Biden’s Department of Justice wanted to stop an independent political committee from campaigning for President Trump in crucial swing states just prior to election day.”

Cooksey further accused the DOJ’s Public Integrity Section of deliberately leaking the Musk letter to the New York Times, which was a violation of the department’s media policies.

“Writing such a letter and then leaking it also violates the department’s long-standing policy against the identification of uncharged parties and the disclosure of prejudicial information,” Cooksey continued.

Elon Musk, the founder and owner of Tesla and SpaceX, as well as the owner of the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), is the wealthiest man in the world. He was previously a Democrat who supported politicians such as Barack Obama, but has shifted further to the right in recent years, due primarily to the Democrats’ increasingly radical stances, including support for censorship and transgenderism. Musk gave his official endorsement of President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign following the assassination attempt against him on July 13th.

President-elect Trump has since announced that Musk, alongside businessman and former presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead an entirely new federal agency called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), with the purpose of significantly reducing the size of the federal government over the course of the next two years. The agency plans to complete its work by July 4th, 2026, which will be the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States.
