I'm a genealogyfag already. Picked up an old family tree when I was 8 yo, never looked back.
Just found that the Romanovs are distant 13th cousins. (Tesla's my 23'rd cousin) Interesting I have Romanov in the family. I swear everyone is somehow connected. Almost all of us.
I'll always want the Bible, but I'll leave instructions for it to be sent off to archives if it's that old.
Are maps and stuff like that not common in these? I'll capture some pics from it. I've not seen another bible with a ton of maps in it. There's a bible dictionary and moar. I'm blessed to have it and glad I kept it (I went thru a few bad years with religion, reconciling)
John Gaunt looks like a common relative where everyone spored out for me. Barbiezieau (sp) is another common ancestor I'm finding that connects some to the royal fam.
When I got my first house, my dad made a care basket for me. Spam was in there.
Needless to say, I never even TRIED it. I gave it to the food shelter. They probably have quite a stock at those food shelters of SPAM. I'm guessing I'm not the only one to unload a spammy gift lol

I'm just now learning of Cajuns. Apparently dats my kin. Boy did Cajuns have shit rough. That history is making me sad. Also makes me feel really really lucky to be there. Many died on ships waiting to disembark. History has been so washed over it's really fucked up.

My dad made the best gumbo I've ever had…my stepmonster threw out his recipes like…the week he died. And his rock albums. That hurt more than anything monetarily he could have left. I hope to replicate that gumbo.
