Had a conversation a few years ago with a man that worked on the Arrow. Long chat. Impressive design and engineering. Never went full throttle. No vibration, smooth as glass. Never flew with the jet engines that were designed and built for it. 30% moar powerful. Mike also flew Spitfires at the end of WWII, but never saw combat. After repurposing the deflated and depersonelled company's direction, prototyped an amphibious APC. Too heavy. Said that there was an issue with buoyancy and armor. Learned a lot that day.
