This is a very important statement, re: the 20th Century being finally over.

If you will notice, our forward progress as a society -our culture, ideas, philosophy, style- stopped just after 2000. Hardly anything truly new was introduced beyond new tech. But tech is just a tool, not a culture. They presented it as if it was one, but it had no culture to offer. So, it wrapped itself around the pop culture and ideas of the 20th century. Regurgitation the 20th century became the culture.

Think of all the decades of the last century. All of them had very specific events, styles, music, etc. The last 25 years have been reboots, reruns, and sequels of that. This vomit has been the culture of the 21st century so far.

First, Tech overstayed its moment on stage, and then this oppressive woke cloud pressed down on us, not only stopping opinions from being expressed, but from any but a few truly new ideas from being birthed.

Thiel is correct. The 20th century has finally ended.

The 21st century has now begun.

Let's go.
