Rachel Campos was born and raised in Tempe, Arizona,[5][6] to Miguel Campos and Maria del Pilar,[7][8] junior-high school teachers in Chandler, Arizona.[8] Her grandparents immigrated to the United States from Mexico.[9] She has two brothers,[10] Patrick Campos and Joseph Campos. Her sister,[6] Leah Campos Schandlbauer, is a former CIA operations officer who ran for the U.S. Congress[7] in Arizona in 2012.[11] Campos and her siblings were raised in a strict Catholic home.[6]
