It would require a re-writing of the state's constitution which would require 2/3 of both state government houses to agree to (I think). CA's constitution is primarily about water rights, which have been argued over for 150 years - not likely to change anytime soon.

Damn anon, good point. I was thinking about voter-fraud, child-trafficking at the border and the while illegal-alien voter registration going on in shithole San Francisco… that being said, I'm not sure if splitting CA up into three states would be good for the country and/or GEOTUS or not… could just hand more Senate/House seats to Dems… maybe fuck up the Electoral College some how… not sure
