Enfield High School Placed Into Lockdown Mode

Parents are asked not to come to the school as officials work with local authorities.

ENFIELD, CT — Enfield High School has been placed into lockdown mode Wednesday morning, according to a text message alert received by parents.

The message, sent around 10:30 a.m., reads, "We are working closely with local authorities to resolve the situation as quickly and safely as possible. We will provide updates as soon as more information is available."
