British Columbia has been a month of rain and pretty strong gusts. At least we don't get hurricanes and earthquakes though. Just mild winter but lots of rain like Washington state. Guessing the trees weren't pruned and large branches fell on powerlines. This morning there were large branches all over the roads. All that climate change environmental funding and I haven't seen a single Arborist pruning trees in 10 years.

Gotta reread the verses around the one mentioned. Jesus was willing to give everything for God, including his life. So when Peter was trying to convince Jesus that his flesh mattered above God, that is when he said what he said to Peter. Jesus already received the vision by God that he had to die the way he did, so that was his mission: to die. Peter might have also been getting attached to Jesus since they were orbiting around his 'fame' of sorts.
